Well, I graduated high school with a 3.3 unweighted and a 4.0 weighted. I volunteered at a local hospital and a middle school after program. I danced and I was apart of three clubs at my school. I really never paid my ACT/SAT any attention, that is why I did not do as well as I wanted to. I applied to 5 universities and I only got into FIU. However, FIU was my number 1 choice because the university is very affordable! But, it is not that hard to get into!

I did the early fall application. (One year prior to fall semester) I was told it's a prestigious school and it would be a good thing to do. Honestly, I don't think it's hard to get in here at all. With the amount of ,no offense, business or criminal justice majors...you'll know what I mean haha. Let me put it this way, if you can spell the color BLUE then welcome to FIU. However, keep in mind this school isn't full of idiots, you will definitely meet intelligent individuals, but remember this isn't Harvard.

FIU is not hard to get in at all if you already are a good student. It has a 40% acceptance rate and ANYONE that can apply (not just 'A' students) does it. I was accepted right away because I had a high gpa and high SAT score.
